Conference Update
We are closely monitoring the evolving geopolitical situation in the Middle East and its potential implications for PSCC 2026 in Cyprus.
At present, conditions in Cyprus remain stable, and flights to and from Europe are operating normally. The conference is therefore expected to proceed in person as planned.
Please note that, for inclusion in the proceedings, each accepted paper must be presented by one of the authors.
We are aware of current disruptions affecting some routes between Europe and the Middle East and will continue to review the situation, keeping all options under consideration.
WELCOME
The Power Systems Computation Conference addresses theoretical developments and computational aspects of electric power systems research, with applications ranging from micro-grids to mega-grids. There is an emphasis on modelling and simulation for understanding a system of components, power plants and distributed energy conversion resources, or actors, the interactions between them and their collective behaviour, and methods to inform decision-making in power systems.
Contributions may focus on analytical techniques, modelling challenges, complex software engineering issues and experimental studies as well as analyses with respect to today’s and the future’s power system challenges. Thus, papers from utility and manufacturing industry engineers are just as welcome as those from academic researchers.

important Update
PSCC 2026 is intended as a forum at which those interested in modelling, simulation and analysis of power systems can meet together in-person to discuss new ideas, challenges and opportunities.
We recall that, to be included in the conference proceedings, a paper should be presented and discussed at the conference by one of its authors who has registered to attend the conference.
We are aware of the uncertain and evolving geopolitical situation in the Middle East and are watching closely in respect of its potential impact on PSCC 2026 in Cyprus.
In Cyprus, everything is calm; all flights to and from the rest of Europe are operating as usual with the only disruption to flights through the Middle East. Thus, at this stage, we expect the conference to go ahead in-person as planned. However, we acknowledge that current circumstances may make it impossible for some authors to travel to Cyprus in the way that they normally would.
The organisers of PSCC 2026 will consider a request for a particular paper to be presented and discussed remotely if none of the authors of that paper is able to attend the conference in person due to one of the following reasons:
- an author’s inability to obtain a visa in time;
- an author’s employer refuses to grant permission for that author to travel to Cyprus for the conference; or
- the agency that would be funding the author’s attendance refuses to fund travel to Cyprus for the conference.
A request may be made via the designated form. Evidence should be provided of the restriction or restrictions on travel for each of the paper’s authors.
If permission is granted, please note that paid conference registration by the presenting author is still required and the presenting author should be available to discuss the paper in the session in which its presentation has been scheduled.
Please note that individuals who had intended to attend and have paid registration fees but are no longer able to can find information on cancellation terms at the registration site by clicking on “Privacy Policy”.
